The day before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) starts in Barcelona, on February 25, Xiaomi will hold its global launch event for the Xiaomi 14 series. The eagerly anticipated Xiaomi 14 Ultra is anticipated to be released at the event.

Although the phone’s existence hasn’t been formally verified by the company, a recent report indicates that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra would be available in a Titanium special edition. The Xiaomi 14 Pro is available in China as a limited edition with a titanium frame and a different color, but the features are the same as those of the regular model. Furthermore, some important data about the global version of the vanilla Xiaomi 14 have been spotted on the EMVCo website.

A rumor from 91Mobiles claims that Xiaomi is getting ready to release a Titanium special edition of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. It is said that in order to maintain competitive pricing, the standard models of the phone will have metal frames. Titanium was used by Samsung and Apple to create the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the most recent iPhone 15 Pro models. A Titanium Edition of the Xiaomi 14 Pro with a matte titanium alloy side was also available last year.

Additionally, it is reported that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be offered in China in three storage configurations: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.

On the EMVCo certification page, the Xiaomi 14 global variant was also discovered. According to the description, the phone would come with NFC capability and HyperOS 1.0, which is based on Android 14.

Barcelona will host the global launch of the Xiaomi 14 series on February 25. In October, Xiaomi released the 14 and 14 Pro smartphones in China, with starting prices of CNY 3,999 (about Rs. 50,000) and CNY 4,999 (about Rs. 56,500), respectively.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and HyperOS interface are features of the Xiaomi 14 series. They have 120Hz dynamic refresh rate and up to 2K resolution LTPO OLED screens. They boast an IP68 grade for water and dust resistance, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and a triple rear camera configuration calibrated for Leica. A 4,880mAh battery with 20W and 50W wireless charging capabilities powers the Xiaomi 14 Pro. With a 4,610mAh battery capacity, the Xiaomi 14 supports 50W wireless charging, 10W wireless reverse charging, and 90W wired charging.
