It is anticipated that the features of the global edition will be carried over to the Indian version. Recently, the smartphone’s major display feature was hinted at, and the product page on Amazon was also compromised. On the other hand, the Honor 90 5G’s official Amazon microsite is now live. This demonstrates that the phone will be sold throughout the nation through Amazon.com. Along with the potential release of Honor Choice Earbuds X5, the page teases several important data about the next smartphone.
According to the Honor X9b’s Amazon website, the phone’s curved screen would be “unbreakable.” An earlier teaser for the phone revealed that the Indian Honor X9b will have “360-degree whole-device protection,” which is certified by SGS, just as the global form. Claims include that it has “India’s first ultra bounce display” with ‘Airbag’ technology.
The upcoming Honor X9b’s sleek design, large battery, and Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU are all hinted at on Amazon’s product page. While it doesn’t provide all the details, it does allude to a significant release that is probably going to happen concurrently with the smartphone. The website’s header features a large, circular silhouette of the future phone’s back camera module, along with the phrases “unlock the extra” and the launch date—February 15—inside.
But if we look closely, we can see that the “x” in the word “extra” is actually represented by two overlapping headphones. These are most likely the Honor Choice Earbuds X5, as previously hinted by HonorTech CEO Madhav Sheth. This easter egg probably means that the TWS earphones will be released on February 15, as per a previous report.
Given that the global and Indian versions of the Honor 9Xb are anticipated to have comparable specifications, the phone may be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM. It might also come with a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,200 x 2,652 pixel) AMOLED screen running MagicOS 7.2, which is based on Android 13. It is also expected that the phone would have a 5,800mAh battery that supports 35W wired fast charging.
The Honor 9Xb’s optics could include a 108-megapixel triple rear camera system out of the box, which would include a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 5-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens. It is probable that the front camera will include a 16-megapixel sensor.
