Pakistan began airstrikes inside Iran on Thursday night, targeting terrorist Baluchi organizations. Two days have passed since Iran launched its own assault on Pakistani territory.

“This morning Pakistan undertook a series of highly coordinated and specifically targeted precision military strikes against terrorist hideouts in Siestan-o-Baluchistan province of Iran,” a statement from the foreign ministry stated, adding that a “number of terrorists were killed”.

According to a statement from the foreign ministry, “Iran is a brotherly country and people of Pakistan have great respect and affection for Iranian people.”

7 dead in Pakistan strike in Iran

A border village in Iran’s Sistan-Baluchistan province was struck by multiple missiles fired from Pakistan, a provincial security official claimed on Thursday, as reported by the semi-official Young Journalist Club news agency.

The source clarified that none of the victims of one of the blasts were Iranian nationals and stated that at least three ladies and four children perished in it.

The war further escalated when Pakistan purportedly launched an attack on locations controlled by the Baloch separatist groups, the Balochistan Liberation Front and the Balochistan Liberation Army.

The invasion of Pakistan’s sovereignty, according to the country’s minister of foreign affairs, is “completely unacceptable” and has dire implications. It went on to say that even though there are several channels of communication open between the two countries, Iran has taken this move.
