Apple Vision Pro

Sales of the Apple Vision Pro will start in the US on Friday, February 2. The business recently revealed that more than 600 apps and games are already prepared for the first mixed-reality headset. These will be accessible in addition to the one million apps presently available on iOS and iPadOS that are compatible with Vision Pro. Disney+ and Warner Bros. Discovery’s Max are two streaming apps that have been optimized to make the most of the Vision Pro’s spatial interface. The Vision Pro has more than 250 Apple Arcade games for gamers.

Apple announced that more than 600 games and apps that have been optimized for the Vision Pro would be available starting on Friday in a new post on its newsroom website. In addition to the one million Vision Pro-compatible apps currently on the App Store, these additional apps offer native compatibility for the visionOS operating system. These amazing apps are going to transform the way we enjoy gaming, music, and entertainment. They’re also going to open our minds to new learning and exploration opportunities, increase our productivity beyond measure, and much more. The potential of spatial computing is already being realized by developers, and we’re excited to see what they come up with next, said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of developer relations.

Several streaming apps, such as PGA TOUR Vision, NBA, MLB, CBS, Paramount+, NBC, NBC Sports, Peacock, FOX Sports, and the UFC, will be available to Apple Vision Pro subscribers. Additionally, they have access to apps from cable companies such as Verizon Fios, Charter Spectrum, Comcast Xfinity, Cox Contour, and Sling TV. A selection of movies from Warner Bros. Discovery’s Max will be shown in 4K quality with Dolby Atmos 2 and Spatial Audio.

Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom, and other Microsoft 365 productivity tools are among the productivity apps compatible with the Vision Pro. On the headgear, users may also access Slack, Notion, and Todoist.

On the Vision Pro, more than 250 Apple Arcade titles will also function. Super Fruit Ninja, Cut the Rope 3, Jetpack Joyride 2, Bloons TD 6+, stich., Patterned, Illustrated, Wylde Flowers, and other titles are included in the catalog.

Through the mixed reality headset, users will be able to shop with live consolation and demo through Decathlon, J. Crew Virtual Closet, Mytheresa: Luxury Experience, and Lowe’s Style Studio. The music apps NowPlaying, STAGE+, Spool, Animoog Galaxy, and AmazeVR Concerts were created specifically for the Apple Vision Pro. Additionally, users have access to wellness apps such as Endel, Lungy: Spaces, Odio, and Healium.

In the US, the Apple Vision Pro with 256GB of storage starts at $3,499, or around Rs. 2,90,000. It will be available for purchase on Friday via the company’s online shop and US Apple shop locations. On January 19, preorders for the headset became available.
